What information should I have printed on my custom hang tag?
Basic information, such as business name or your name, maybe a logo, and contact information.
After purchase, Email me carol@kimmericstudio.com with your information or use the form at the bottom of the page,
and I'll set up your design and send an email attachment with a copy of the tag. Please check for typos and see if any changes
need to be made. We are easy to work with and will make sure you are totally satisfied with your design.
Can I use my logo?
Sure. Please send it as a jpg or something that will open on a Mac. Do not send a doc. 300 dpi is preferred. The logo will only print as good as the image you send.
It does not need to be the correct size, but there is no need to send a giant image. I can size it to fit.
If you want some kind of graphic I can find something to use, but will need some direction from you as to what you are looking for. There is a one time $10 charge
to add logos and graphics to your tag.
What kind of cardstock do you print on?
We use an excellent, top quality 100% environmentally friendly 80 lb recycled cardstock.
It is acid and lignan free. Much higher quality than you will find in your local office supply store.
Do you print in metallic?
We cannot print in metallic but can simulate the gold or silver color pretty well.
Do you perforate tags (to tear off the bottom section)?
I am not able to perforate the custom tags I print for you, but there are some options. We can print a small dotted line on the tags, to give you a separate section
for pricing or other information you want to keep separate. You can either cut the dotted line with scissors, or purchase a perforating tool
from your local craft store, or here:

Why do the mini, small, and medium tags all cost the same?
The medium size takes more cardstock, but the mini size tags have a lot more cutting. Cutting the tags is time consuming.
Can I cut the tags myself?
Yes. Choose the option of cutting the tags yourself (below, from the drop down menu that says Cut Tags or Whole Sheets?) and the savings is 20% OFF.
We will send you the printed 8-1/2"x 11" sheets "as is", uncut. There are
no hanging holes available if you choose this option.
If I choose to cut the tags myself, how do I get the 20% OFF?
When you are checking out in the shopping cart, use the coupon code NOCUT to receive your 20% OFF. If you order other
products at the same time as your custom order, you will also receive 20% OFF the other items in that same order.
Are holes included in the price of the tags?
Yes. All tag orders that we cut for you include the hanging hole in the tag, unless you choose "No holes" (in the drop down menu below).
Why wouldn't I want holes in my tags?
You may want to use a shaped hole punch, a tagging gun, or a straight pin. You might also want to place your tags into merchandise & gifts, not tie them on.
Will I be able to reorder my tags?
Yes. We keep all tags on file for several years. If this is a reorder you will get a 10% discount. When you are checking out, use the coupon code REORDER in the shopping cart.
How do I pay for my custom order?
We accept paypal. You can use credit/debit cards, or pay by check or Paypal funds. You do not have to have a Paypal account to pay in Paypal.
